Stuff the Bus and Coffee County Student Expo!!

On July 19th, local businesses in our community came together to "Stuff the Bus". The overall goal was to contribute supplies and products that students need to be successful during the school year. We were honored to participate and contributed cases of personal hygiene products. After all of the supplies were collected, they were sorted through and preparation began for the Coffee County Student Expo, which took place just before the start of the school year!

As the school year grew near, the folks on the Student Expo team put together backpacks filled to the brim with school supplies, hygiene products, and other items that students need to be successful and confident in school!

The Coffee County Student Expo took place on Saturday, August 5th. Unity Medical Center was happy to help with event. There was an incredible turnout! Not only were students given school supplies, but they were also given the opportunity to receive free haircuts, health screenings, and dental exams. Parents also were able to speak to representatives from multiples businesses and organizations during a job fair. The backpacks and supplies were provided for around 500 students in the Coffee County and Manchester City School Systems!! It was amazing to see our community come together to support this event. These students are our future, and the future is something definitely worth investing in. Unity Medical Center is proud to call the Manchester commUNITY, HOME!
